Caitlyn started riding at three years old when her mom took her to a local barn in Malvern, PA for pony lessons. After a year of lessoning, summer camps, and taking care of lesson ponies, she got her first pony. Caitlyn and her pony, Lilly, were both four years old... a disaster waiting to happen. Caitlyn fell off nearly everyday, but somehow that only made her stronger for the future. After losing all of her confidence on Lilly, she moved to another trainer that gave her a mini pony and donkey to take care of and ride. She fell in love with the sport again and was finally able to gain her confidence back. After selling Lilly, Caitlyn purchased her first pony jumper, Giroux (Breakaway), and had multiple top placings in competitions such as the Devon Horse Show and a Silver Team Medal in the Pony Jumper Finals.

From the ages of 8-12 years old, Caitlyn went on to ride and sell horses for her trainer. "Riding all different types of horses: hunters, jumpers, equitation, stoppers, rearers, race horses, thoroughbreds, etc. taught me so much and shaped me into the rider I am today."  At the age of 9, Caitlyn then started breaking race horses and galloping them as a summer job and kept this position for many years after. In addition, Caitlyn took care of her horses up until she moved to the AA circuit. Shortly after adjusting to this new environment, she took over the care and management of her horses again at 15 years old.

As a Junior rider, Caitlyn did catch rides for professionals in the hunters, jumpers and equitation ring where she had numerous placings throughout all events. She has also competed on many Junior and Young Rider Nations Cup teams throughout her junior career. From 15 to 24, Caitlyn competed in the U25 division where she had multiple placings on different horses in the Semi-final and Finale at the Wellington Equestrian Festival. At  the age of 18, she became a professional to work with the luxury brand, Hermes, as a prescribed rider.

Since her Junior years, Caitlyn has competed for Team USA on senior Nations Cup Teams in Spain and Portugal. She has also competed up to the CSI5* level with multiple placings throughout many events all over the country. On top of this, Caitlyn has had the wonderful opportunity of riding and selling horses for some of the top riders in the world. Along with maintaining a professional career, she also graduated from the University of Miami in 2023 with a degree in Business Communication, Marketing and Psychology.

Caitlyn’s passion for show jumping runs deep, fueling her dedication to the sport. Whether training tirelessly or traveling all over the world for competitions, show jumping isn’t just a hobby for Caitlyn—it’s a way of life that fills her with excitement, determination, and an unshakable love for the sport.
